Our 100% cotton gauze weave fabric provides fast absorption with maximum comfort and softness, even after long-term washing. Although our gauze gabric absorbs faster than birdseye it is not as heavy and thus has slightly less overall absorbency. Many users feel it is cooler and softer than birdseye.
The day weight diapers are light enough for daytime wear but have extra thickness and absorbency where it is needed most. The night weight diapers have the extra center pad absorbency to get you through the night. Day weight diapers have four full width layers of gauze and 1 layer of thick terry cloth in the middle. The night weight diapers are made of four full width layers of gauze and 2 layers of extra thick terry cloth in the middle. The gauze diapers are a little heavier and thus more absorbent. The gauze is a little softer and quicker to absorb due to the looser weave of the fabric.
